NEW YORK, July 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 jolted 165 km SSE of Mata-Utu, Wallis and Futuna at 2337 GMT on Thursday, said the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter, with a depth of 323.9 km, was initially determined to be at 14.73 degrees south latitude and 175.79 degrees west longitude. ■
