HONG KONG, July 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted South of Fiji Islands at 0324 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 542.7 km, was initially determined to be at 23.32 degrees south latitude and 179.74 degrees west longitude. ■
