MOSCOW, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Four people died and one was injured after a car plunged into the Pyana River in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Region, local authorities said.
According to a statement from the regional branch of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the incident occurred on Thursday evening.
The bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the water by a diving team of the emergencies ministry, said the statement. ■
