ISLAMABAD, July 18 (Xinhua) -- The foreign exchange reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) have increased by 23 million U.S. dollars, the bank said in a statement on Thursday.
During the week ending on July 11, the total foreign exchange reserves of the bank rose to around 14.53 billion dollars, the SBP said in a statement.
Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks came at 5.43 billion dollars, it added.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the South Asian country stood at about 19.96 billion dollars, according to the SBP. ■
