SYDNEY, July 17 (Xinhua) -- Two teenagers have been charged with the stabbing murder of a man who was found dead in the front garden of his beachside home on Australia's east coast, said local police on Thursday.
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) said that the body of the 57-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds outside his home in the beachside suburb of Warana, 80 km north of Brisbane in the state of Queensland, on Monday night.
Detectives have charged two boys, aged 15 and 17, with his murder, said the police.
The man's body was found unresponsive in the front garden after his wife, who was interstate at the time, asked a neighbor to check the home when she had not heard from her husband.
He was declared deceased at the scene by emergency services and a crime scene was established.
A QPS statement said that, following extensive investigations, it will be alleged in court that a disturbance occurred at the home, resulting in the man's sustaining fatal stab wounds. ■
