NEW DELHI, July 17 (Xinhua) -- The local government in India's Chhattisgarh said 177 security members, including 37 paramilitary troopers, deployed in the central Indian state, had committed suicide since 2019, media reports said Thursday.
The information was presented by Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma in the state's assembly on Wednesday. ■
