HANOI, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam disbursed more than 268.1 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 10.2 billion U.S. dollars) in public investment during the first half of 2025, fulfilling 32.5 percent of the annual target, Vietnam News Agency reported Friday, citing the Ministry of Finance.
The ministry said that to accelerate the pace, it has established seven teams to inspect and resolve bottlenecks at ministries, central agencies, and localities with slow disbursement progress.
Vietnam has set a public investment disbursement goal of nearly 829.4 trillion dong (about 31.7 billion dollars) for the entire year, according to the government. ■
