KABUL, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Four commuters have been confirmed dead and five others were injured as a car collided with a mini-bus on a highway in the northern Jawzjan province Wednesday morning, Bakhtar news agency reported.
The deadly mishap took place on the road linking Jawzjan to Andkhoi district in the neighboring Faryab province due to carelessness of the drivers, the report said.
At least 20 commuters have been killed in Faryab and Jawzjan provinces since last Thursday, and reckless driving was blamed for the mishaps. ■
