TASHKENT, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan's gold exports jumped 54.8 percent in the first five months of this year compared to the same period in 2024, Uzbekistan's Podrobno.uz reported Friday.
In the first five months of the current year, Uzbekistan increased its gold export volume to 6.49 billion U.S. dollars, said the report, citing data from the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The share of gold in the overall export structure also increased, from 37.1 percent last year to 43.8 percent this year. ■
