KABUL, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Six commuters have been confirmed dead and three others sustained injuries due to a road accident that happened in northern Afghanistan's Faryab province on Thursday evening, reported the state-run Bakhtar news agency on Friday.
The deadly mishap took place in the Dawlat Abad district due to reckless driving, and as a result, six travelers died on the spot, and three other children sustained injuries, the state-owned media outlet added.
A similar mishap claimed three lives and injured 10 others in Faryab's neighboring Jawzjan province a couple of days ago. ■
