WARSAW, June 27 (Xinhua) -- At least one person was killed and two others injured in a shooting on Friday morning in southern Poland, local media Polsat News reported.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. local time (0800 GMT) in the village of Stara Wies, located in Limanowa Municipality in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, said the report.
Police spokesperson Jolanta Batko confirmed that three people were shot.
Authorities reported that the suspect fled to a nearby forest, and a large-scale manhunt is currently underway. ■
