DOHA, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Qatar's air defense systems responded to several missiles over the capital Doha on Monday, as Iran announced the launch of a military operation targeting U.S. forces at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that Tehran had begun a missile campaign dubbed the "Annunciation of Victory," targeting U.S. bases in both Iraq and Qatar. ■
