ISLAMABAD, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's cutlery exports increased by over 4 percent in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year compared to the same period of the last fiscal year, officials from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) said on Tuesday.
The cutlery exports from the country were recorded at 55.32 million U.S. dollars in July-May of the ongoing fiscal year as against the exports of 53.16 million dollars during the same months of fiscal year 2023-24, showing an increase of 4.07 percent, the PBS officials said.
On a year-on-year basis, the cutlery exports during the month of May 2025 increased by 9.22 percent to 5.35 million dollars compared to 4.9 million dollars in May 2024, the PBS said.
Similarly, on a month-on-month basis, the cutlery exports also went up by 27.85 percent in May 2025 compared to 4.19 million dollars in April 2025. ■
