YANGON, June 19 (Xinhua) -- The Myanmar authorities have seized 125 kg of ICE (methamphetamine) in the southern Bago region, the state-owned daily Myanma Alinn reported on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, anti-narcotics police inspected a vehicle in Waw township in Bago on June 10, confiscated the drugs and arrested two suspects, the report said.
Another suspect who had instructed the drug transportation was arrested in Hpa-an township on the same day, it added.
The estimated value of the seized drugs is about 3.75 billion kyats (about 1.78 million U.S. dollars), the report said. ■
