YANGON, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's agricultural expo, Agri-Tech Myanmar 2025, will take place in Yangon from June 27 to 29, U Zarni, an event organizer told Xinhua on Sunday.
The expo is to connect farmers and entrepreneurs involved in agriculture, and to help expand local and international markets for both raw and finished agricultural and livestock products, he said.
A total of 107 booths will be featured at the expo, including 34 agricultural booths, 14 energy-related booths, 34 booths for hotels, restaurants, and cafes, 16 food production booths, and 9 booths showcasing SME food products, he said.
Agricultural-related machines and products, such as rice and oil mills, as well as food processing and packaging equipment, raw materials like flavorings, and locally produced wine, will be showcased at the event, he added.
The expo will also feature special programs, such as seminars on agriculture and post-harvest practices, product introductions by exhibitors, and special sales of agricultural products, he said. ■
