KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia's wholesale and retail trade recorded total sales of 151.7 billion ringgit (35.7 billion U.S. dollars) in April, marking a year-on-year growth of 4.7 percent, official data showed Friday.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement that the growth was primarily supported by the performance of the wholesale and retail trade sub-sectors. (1 ringgit equals 0.24 U.S. dollar) ■
