MOSCOW, May 30 (Xinhua) -- The Russian Investigative Committee said Friday it had prevented a terrorist attack in Moscow and seized explosives planned to be used in a crowded place.
The attack was allegedly prepared on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, the committee said in a statement, adding that a suspect had been detained.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect for preparing to commit a terrorist act, it added. ■
