YANGON, May 27 (Xinhua) -- As of Tuesday, Myanmar has recorded 180 aftershocks ranging from magnitudes of 2.8 to 7.5, according to the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.
The aftershocks followed a devastating 7.9-magnitude earthquake that struck the country on March 28.
By May 24, the earthquake had claimed around 3,700 lives and injured over 5,100 people, with 75 others remaining unaccounted for, according to Myanmar's official data. ■
