ALMATY, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Kazakhstan will allocate 3.7 billion tenge (about 7.27 million U.S. dollars) for the national agricultural census scheduled for 2025, Kazinform news agency reported Monday.
The census will be conducted from August 1 to October 20, 2025, with an online stage taking place from August 1 to August 31.
Maksat Turlubayev, Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan, announced the planned spending during a briefing at the Central Communications Service.
The cost per respondent amounts to 3.2 U.S. dollars. According to Turlubayev, the bulk of the expenses will be allocated to remuneration of census personnel, technical equipment, and maintenance of information systems. ■
