MOSCOW, April 30 (Xinhua) -- Russia's gas production is expected to grow by 1.7 percent in 2025, according to a forecast by the Russian Economic Development Ministry released on Wednesday.
The country's total gas production in 2025 is estimated to reach 695.4 billion cubic meters, up from 684 billion cubic meters in 2024, according to the ministry.
Russia's exports of liquefied natural gas are forecast to hit 40 million tonnes in 2025, compared to 34.6 million tonnes in 2024, while pipeline gas exports are expected at 120 billion cubic meters, up from 118.7 billion cubic meters last year. ■
