BEIJING, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong action crime thriller "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" continued to top the Chinese mainland's daily box office chart on Thursday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed.
The film, directed by celebrated Hong Kong director Pou-Soi Cheang and starring Louis Koo and Sammo Hung, grossed over 14.06 million yuan (about 1.98 million U.S. dollars) on the 9th day of screening.
It was followed by Chinese comedy "The Last Frenzy," which raked in nearly 13.28 million yuan on the day.
Domestic action thriller "Formed Police Unit," which focuses on China's peacekeeping police missions on foreign soil, came in third with nearly 6.68 million yuan of daily box office sales.
The Chinese mainland's box office revenue totaled 43.06 million yuan on Thursday. ■
