BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted 50 km southwest of Jiquilillo, Nicaragua at 0044 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 52.8 km, was initially determined to be at 12.35 degrees north latitude and 87.68 degrees west longitude. ■
