YINCHUAN, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese aviation company has been doing its part to help reduce poverty and advance rural revitalization in a once poverty-stricken area in northwest China.
COMAC, the developer of the C919 large passenger aircraft, has been providing paired assistance to Xiji County in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region for over a decade.
The company introduced advanced technologies and a mature management system to a local plant, which has created revenues and job opportunities.
Besides, COMAC has also worked to commercialize local products and build brands to help generate more benefits.
