XINGLONG, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Xinglong karst cave in north China's Hebei Province is a large limestone rock formation estimated to be one billion to 1.4 billion years old. An area of about 5,000 square meters has been detected within the landform, which has five branches and is still developing. The cave's cool atmosphere and carbonate deposits have made it a popular summer tourist destination.
