TEHRAN, July 5 (Xinhua) -- An Iranian military commander said Tuesday that Iran's Air Defense Force monitors and detects enemies' movements beyond the country's borders, warning that any "improper and wrong" move will receive a crushing response.
Making the remarks during a visit to an air defense unit in southeastern Iran, Alireza Sabahifard, the force's commander, said that "we manufacture cutting-edge equipment, and the enemies are aware of that as they constantly monitor our power," the semi-official Mehr News Agency reported.
Sabahifard said through reliance on domestic capabilities and experts, Iran's Air Defense Force has achieved significant progress in defense science, which has shocked the enemies.
He added that the enemies know how expanded the combat capabilities of the Iranian Army's Air Defense Force have become in recent years in light of domestic achievements and progress. ■
