BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Shenzhen Aviators center Shen Zijie was named the second Player of the Month in the 2021-2022 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season on Saturday.
Shen shot 90.9% from the floor to average 17.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in the past seven matches as Shenzhen recorded 6-1 down the stretch.
Shenzhen ranks seventh among 20 teams with a 13-6 record so far.
Zhejiang Lions power forward Hu Jinqiu was the first winner of this season's CBA monthly award. ■
