Xi'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province has made great efforts to ensure candidates take the national postgraduate entrance exam amid a recent COVID-19 resurgence.
The city has reported a total of 330 locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases from Dec. 9 to Friday.
About 135,000 people have signed up for the exam scheduled from Dec. 25 to 26.
Candidates are allowed to enter the examination room after showing their ID cards, admission cards and negative nucleic acid test results within 48 hours.
